Mary Josephine Johnson 91 of Crawfordsville passed away at 8:25 a.m. Friday at Williamsburg Healthcare. Mrs. Johnson was born Oct 6, 1917 at Bainbridge to Alga and Bertha Goff Handy. She married Cyril Johnson March 13, 1956 at Spencer. He died Feb 6, 1984. She was a graduate of Russellville HS and attended Indiana State Univ. She was retired bookkeeper for Indiana Bell Telephone Co. She was a member of Hannah Street Baptist Church at Greencastle and served at Past Regent for DAR. Surviving is a sister, Frances Anderson of Crawfordsville; and a nephew Kent Anderson of Durante, Calif. She was preceded by a sister, Carmen Underwood and her parents. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, Waveland with calling 10 a.m. to service time Tuesday with Rev. Patrick Smith officiating.
